FLINT ART FAIR

From sculpture, ceramics, and glass art, to paintings, photography, textiles, fine jewelry, and wood creations, the Flint Art Fair showcases distinctive, hand-made treasures for collectors of all types. The Flint Art Fair is ranked as one of the top 80 art festivals nationally.


BACK TO THE BRICKS CRUISE AND CAR SHOW

This is the 4th Annual Back to the Bricks! It has been expanded to four days-Wednesday, August 13 through Saturday, August 16.

Wednesday and Thursday, 5 - 10 p.m. will feature our Rolling Cruise, which is a 12.5 mile route from downtown Flint to the Genesee/Oakland County line in Grand Blanc. Currently, there are 32 host sites along the way that will offer live bands and other specials for the cruisers to enjoy. 

Friday, 6 - 10 p.m., with feature the Cruise-In from six locations to downtown Flint and the Official Kick-Off for the event. The Kick-Off will feature live entertainment, music, food, automotive and sponsor displays and, of course, plenty of cool cars.

Saturday, August 16, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., is the big day, with hundreds of cars lined up along Saginaw and the surrounding streets in downtown Flint for the Show. In addition, there will be live entertainment, music, food, automotive and sponsor displays, special car exhibits, contests, and a Marketplace. GENESEE COUNTY FAIR

Celebrate our community and agricultural heritage at the single largest family event in Genesee County - the Genesee County Fair! Starting on the third Monday prior to Labor Day, the Genesee County Fair is home to over 1,000 agricultural exhibitors, and over 1,500 animals that compete in various activities each day. Enjoy a variety of daily contests, exciting rides, great food, activities for kids, senior citizens, veterans, unions, and always special entertainment in the Grandstand such as Bull Mania, Figure 8 Derby, Demolition Derby, TTPA Truck & Tractor Pull, plus well-known entertainers. MICHIGAN RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

Return to an age of wonder and adventure where pleasure reins and merrymaking is the rule. Stroll the wooded paths for handmade crafts, feast upon a succulently roasted turkey drumstick and cheer for your favorite knight as he tests his skill and courage. Festival highlights include full contact, armored jousting, expanded pub area, over 195 master artisans, continuous entertainment on fifteen themed stages, Renaissance games & rides for all ages, special activities for the children in the magical children's realm, and a special events tent for corporate picnics, family reunions or wedding receptions. Festival programming ranges in weekly themes from Renaissance Romance to Highland Flings. Open Saturday and Sunday Mid-August through September, including Labor Day Monday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CRIM FESTIVAL OF RACES

Three-day festival featuring the world renowned CRIM-10 Mile Road Race along with eight other running and walking events, a sports expo with over 60 vendors, two days of ongoing entertainment, a Friday evening pasta party, and numerous other festive activities for family entertainment.

Quilt displays throughout Flint and Genesee County area. Marvel at the magnificent artistry of quilters from around the country. Each site will hold your interest with its themed quilts, demonstrations, raffles, quilt sales, classes, lectures, and more.


GOLDEN MEMORIES CAR SHOW

Come view and enjoy vintage cars on the grounds of the Flint Cultural Center. Vehicles more than 50 years old will be showcased by antique car enthusiats during this one-day event. Authentic and original motorized vehicles dated 1954 and prior are eligible to register for the show.


BIKES ON THE BRICKS

The 2nd Annual Bikes on the Bricks is a one-day event on Saturday, October 4. Time to be determined. This motorcycle show will feature an expanded Police Officer Motorcycle Competition. Prizes will be awarded in numerous categories and for the competition. There will be music, food, motorcycle and sponsor displays and special motorcycle exhibits.

Trick-or-treating at Crossroads Village is spook-tacular fun for all ages on this special Halloween visit. Collect goodies galore on a trick-or-treat of a haunted village then board the Ghost Train Express for a scary good time. Open throughout October.
