You can't beat the great outdoors for relaxing and having fun. With over 26,000 acres of county and state parks alone, you'll find lots to do in and around beautiful Genesee County, Michigan.

It means beautiful valley, and it truly lives up to its name with rolling hills, woodland and pine forests, farm land, and more lakes than you can imagine! You don't have to go that far to get that "Up North" feeling!
County and area state parks offer many outdoor activities including: playgrounds and picnic areas, biking, swimming, boating, hunting, canoeing, hiking, camping, disc golf, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, off-road vehicle area, equestrian areas, fishing, and more. There's even a Splash Pad for the kids!
And, if you're not exactly a camper, many Genesee County hotels/motels are close by.
